Yesterday, tragedy struck not far from us...
In Dendermonde a nearby city about 8 miles from where we live a young man of 20, his face painted in black and white entered a day care center and killed two babies and a staff with a knife, and wounded several others.
The man is in custody, but he refuses to talk and until now nothing is known about his motives.
Undoubtedly you will be able to read more about it in the international press. News like this travels all over the world.
The whole nation is shocked by this brutal attack on the innocent, and many remember the killings in street of Anwerp by Hans Van Themsche, in which the little 2-year old Luna Drowart was one of the victims.
To honour the victims and their families I decided to put "Taken" in my myspace player again, a song I wrote at the time in honour of Luna, and all victims of such meaningless violence.
